GANDHI GLASS HOUSE was founded in 1964 by Mr. A.P.Gandhi (1946-1994) as Photo Frames designing studio. The firm made steady progress under his vision and guidance and was able to register with the Registrar of Companies in 1971, the same year when Gandhi Glass House formally initiated the vocation of glass and glasswork.
Mr. Jitender Gandhi discovered the magic of glass in the mid 1970s and began producing glass work as a hobby. In 1981 he joined his father at Gandhi Glass House and has been producing high quality glass work for a wide range of customers for about two decades.
His younger brother Mr. Sanjay Gandhi who decided to join in 1993 is helping Jitender in all the departments of this creative and hard working enterprise.
Always seeking to broaden their knowledge of glass work, Jitender and Sanjay have attended numerous classes, seminars sponsored by various Stained Glass Associations and have traveled widely to view, and study notable leaded glass work in public buildings and residential complexes.
Structural concerns must be addressed for leaded glass windows to endure. Jitender and Sanjay have accumulated significant knowledge of and experience in the building trades so that they are able to make certain that the proper materials and techniques are used in the design and installation of all glass work produced by Gandhi Glass House.
With their wide knowledge and many years of glass working experience, they are able to help clients select just the right type of glass work for their environment, taste and budget. It is very important to them that clients be completely satisfied with their product and service. With a reputation for being able to work closely with architects and interior designers in balancing budgetary and aesthetic concerns, Gandhi Glass House is often consulted by area architects and builders concerning both new glass work and preservation concerns.
